Our offices at Kingsley, The Brampton.
The Company was set up to take over ownership of the housing stock which was transferred from the Borough Council in January 2000.
In December 2002 we moved to our new offices at Kingsley, The Brampton and changed our name to Aspire Housing.
Our housing management, maintenance and improvements services are delivered within three neighbourhood areas. More information about these areas is available in the housing section of this site.
If you are an existing tenant or leaseholder or are interested in becoming an Aspire Housing tenant, please browse through the site for advice and information. We are a non-profit making Registered Social Landlord (RSL) and are registered with the Housing Corporation, the statutory body responsible for supervising and regulating social landlords.
To register with the Housing Corporation, we had to show that we could provide services efficiently and effectively and that the organisation would be governed in an open, honest and accountable way. We now have to comply with the Housing Corporation’s Regulatory Code (introduced in 2002). The Code covers everything from how we involve and consult tenants to the way we manage our finances.
The Housing Corporation has the power to intervene in the operation of an RSL if it faces severe financial problems or has seriously contravened the Corporation’s regulations.
Housing Corporation's Charter for housing association applicants and residents
This charter is important. You can use the charter to find out what you can expect, and check that you are getting the service you should be from your housing association.
