Our corporate priorities
Excellent Services
Excellent services are fundamental to everything we do. Our ambition is to be the best provider in each of our business sectors.
We will place the customer at the heart of what we do and provide services that are tailored to people’s individual needs.
We will work with customers to ensure our services reflect their priorities and offer great value. We will be accountable to customers for what we do.
We will also shape our services to meet the needs of our partners and commissioners, while meeting the requirements of our regulators.
Neighbourhood impact
Thriving neighbourhoods are places where people want to live. They support quality of life by providing a good environment, local facilities that meet people’s needs, the support of active communities and access to opportunity.
The Aspire Group is well placed to help create thriving neighbourhoods by using our assets and resources creatively.
We will work with partner organisations and local communities to develop plans for priority neighbourhoods where we can focus our collective efforts and investment.
We will improve the neighbourhood environment by upgrading the look of homes and streets with tidy gardens and better use of green space and garage sites.
New homes will be built where they bring the most benefit and meet local priorities.
We will also help to manage neighbourhoods effectively by working with the police, councils and by supporting residents’ groups.
Social impact
We know our customers and communities need a range of support to overcome the many issues that cause deprivation and disadvantage.
We will provide personalised support to help our customers to live independently, whether that is in general needs housing, sheltered housing or private housing.
We will offer work-based training and apprenticeships through PM Training and other training providers so residents get the opportunity to move off benefits into a steady job.
We will also continue to support our customers to manage their finances, access financial services like banks and loans and to avoid debt.
Maximising impact
We want to do more to overcome the neighbourhood, social and economic issues our communities face.
Through the Aspire Group we will invite like-minded businesses to join with us so we can provide more services and have a greater impact.
Our group and its members will operate to the principles of social enterprise. We will run commercially successful companies that generate profits which will be reinvested in our communities through our charity, the Realise Foundation.
We will create new social enterprises, bring existing businesses into our group and become a recognised leader in social enterprise.
We will also work with our suppliers to ensure they support our social goals as a condition of securing contracts with us.
In this way we will grow as a business, employ more people, make more profit to reinvest in communities and support more investment into our communities from business, the voluntary sector and public sector partners.
