Open to all customers, the competition gives keen gardeners a chance to display their skills and win a prize. The competition is designed to give everyone a chance to enter, even if they live in a flat, bungalow or house, with or without a garden.
With over 50 gardens to judge, Chris Waterfall, Grounds Maintenance Project Surveyor at Aspire Housing and competition judge, certainly has his work cut out for him.
He said: “We are always overwhelmed at the number of entries we receive for the competition as it grows year on year.
He continued: “I am delighted to be judging again – it’s wonderful to see so many of our customers taking pride in their gardens and getting some recognition for their hard work.”
This year’s categories are for: best garden; best vegetable garden; best container and best hanging baskets.
Prizes are up for grabs for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in every category with an additional prize of £100 this year for best overall winner.
