The Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Stoke-On-Trent joined other dignitaries at the opening ceremony, held at Empowering People Inspiring Communities’ (EPIC) offices in Bentilee.
EPIC has worked with Newcastle-based Aspire Housing to refurbish flats at Lauder Place in Bentilee and due to the successful partnership, commissioned Aspire and other local contractors and suppliers to give their reception area a facelift.
Speaking about the project, Andrea Bromfield, Business Change Manager, for EPIC said: “We have been involved in regeneration work for a while now and the redevelopment of our offices demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing a first class service to new and existing residents of Bentilee.”
John Flock, Chairman of the Board for EPIC said: “We are absolutely delighted with the work that has been completed and the reception area is now a much more welcoming place for our customers.”
He added: “The new design puts our customers’ needs first and gives our staff a better working environment.”
The reception area now has a modern, vibrant, fresh open and friendly feel to it with an open plan layout, full disabled access and facilities and new lighting.
Will Nixon, Director of Operations at Aspire Housing, said: “We are thrilled to be working in partnership with EPIC to provide its customers with a top class service and quality workmanship.”
He continued: “We look forward to working with EPIC in the future on other projects and are looking to offer our services to more companies throughout the Staffordshire area”.
