Hundreds of vulnerable people in Newcastle-under-Lyme will get extra support as Aspire Housing secures a bumper contract with Staffordshire County Council.

Health Minister Mike O’Brien has hailed an innovative health care and retirement village in Newcastle-under-Lyme for its provision of extra care housing and a state-of-the-art primary care centre.

Residents are set to celebrate the start of work on a multi-million pound scheme to create new homes, shops and community facilities on a Stoke-on-Trent estate.
