Woolworths - making it easier for you to pay your bills
High street retailer, Woolworths, has signed a deal with bill payment specialists allpay.net to enable people to make rent and council tax payments at any of their 820 stores across the UK.
Anyone who has an allpay card can now make payments at any Woolworths store using cash or a debit card.
Aspire Housing is delighted with the introduction of the new payment system, which will give their customers more choice when accessing the company’s services.
Helen Scurr, Head of Housing Services at Aspire Housing is thrilled with the news, saying: “This will make it much easier for a lot of our customers to make their payments whilst out shopping in the town centre, instead of having to make a special journey to our offices.”
She continued: “We are currently undertaking a review of all of our customer services which will include a new town centre location and customer contact centre to provide our customers with excellent customer services”
The new payment service was launched in Woolworths in Newcastle town centre this week.
Customers can apply for an allpay.net swipe card from their bill issuer. For more information contact Aspire Housing’s Income Maximisation Team on 01782 635200.
