Be Safe

Newcastle-based landlord Aspire Housing is urging its customers to keep safe this Christmas.

Building Services Manager, Shaun Davies, explains:“At this time of the year it is easy to create potential hazards by overloading electric sockets.

He added: “Be alert for warning signs including burning smells, sounds of buzzing or crackling and fuses blowing or circuit breakers tripping out.”

As the weather worsens and homes rely on central heating systems and fires, the company is also reminding people of the importance of servicing and maintaining gas appliances.
