Aspire Housing has been awarded the highest rating possible from a recent annual electrical installation inspection.
The company was inspected by the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC), an independent regulatory body, and received a rating of Satisfactory - the highest rating given by the organisation.
Paul Clifford, Head of Maintenance Operations at Aspire Housing, said: “We are absolutely delighted to achieve the highest standard from the NECEIC.
He continued: “The inspection is rigorous and it is normal for organisations to have an improvement plan that is followed up with an interim inspection. This is not the case for Aspire, which reflects the hard work and exhaustive preparation by the whole Electrical Team.”
The inspector described the result as a satisfactory standard obtained throughout. It is clear that managers and operatives have taken on board comments from previous years and improved systems accordingly.
The NECEIC’s annual inspection took place on 27th August 2008, when an inspector spent a day with Aspire Housing staff sample checking work carried out by the company on properties in the area and the procedures used to ensure compliance with BS 7671.
