To apply for a garage you need to complete and return an application form. Forms are available from our reception or click on the online form from the menu on the left hand side to apply for a garage online.
Once we have received your application we will:
- Allocate garages in date order of application
- Give priority to people with a registered disability
- Give preference to tenants who live in a home owned by Aspire Housing
- Consider applications from other people who live in or operate a business within the Borough
Will my application be accepted?
- We will consider applications from anyone aged 17 or over, provided the garage is only to be used for the storage of private motor vehicles. Applications from individuals or organisations who wish to use the garage for a special reason will be considered on an individual basis.
- If you are a current or former tenant of Aspire Housing, your application will not be accepted if you owe us any money (e.g. rent arrears).
- If you are a garage tenant, you can apply to transfer or exchange your garage provided the rent account is clear and subject to the garage being left empty, clean and in good repair for the next tenant.
