Customer Service Standards
To allocate accomodation in accordance with the Company's policies and operational procedures to ensure consistently high standards.
To allocate 75% of vacancies to Local Council nominees.
What can you expect?
- Requests for application packs will be completed within 1 working day of request.
- Acknowledgement, registration and input of an application will be completed within 10 working days.
- Any written request for more information will be sent out to the applicant within 10 working days.
- If you apply for rehousing for medical reasons, your circumstances will be assessed promptly within 28 days.
- An annual review letter will be sent to you within 1 month of the application date.
- You will be offered a private interview within a reasonable time, up to 7 working days from request.
- A telephone interpreting service is facilitated, and available on request, via Language Line where English is not the first language and the services of intermediaries will be provided where a customer has hearing or speech difficulties, or other special needs.
- Personal callers visiting the offices will not be kept waiting for longer than 5 minutes.
- We aim to answer all telephone calls as quickly as possible and within a maximum of 15 seconds.
- Letters will be replied to within 10 working days.
What happens next?
When you have completed the application form, return it to us to be registered. You will then receive a letter telling you if your application has been accepted. The letter will confirm the date of your application, the band you have been placed in, the type and size of accommodation you are eligible for and what areas you have requested for rehousing. It is important that you contact us if your circumstances change (e.g. birth of a child) as this may affect your application.
