The pet owners responsibility

The pet owner has the following responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:

• Keeping their pets under proper control and supervision.
• Appropriately cared for and not abused by any specific action, or by neglect.
• Ensuring that no animal kept at, or brought to, the premises causes any nuisance, annoys or frightens anyone.
• Providing and maintaining suitable fencing/housing.
• Not keeping any animal in such a way as to cause damage to the premises or any neighbouring property.
• Encouraging customers with dogs to provide their dogs with an identity tag displaying the owners name and address.
• Not allowing their dog to foul on any premises or land without clearing away after it.
