Your rent statement is sent out in April, advising you of the amount of rent you need to pay. We work this out using the size, age, type, facilities and location of your home.

You pay your rent over 48 weeks. There are four non-debit weeks in each year when you do not have to make rent payments (usually a fortnight at Christmas and the last two weeks of the financial year).

If you have missed any rent payments (this is known as being in arrears), you should still continue to pay as normal in these weeks to reduce the arrears.

Every customer needs to pay their weekly rent. Some pay directly out of their wallets, others pay through the Housing Benefit system. Whichever way you pay your rent it is your responsibility to make sure we receive payment.
