We will tell you how long it will take to carry out your repair. If the repair is not completed within the target timescale we will give you another date by which the repair should be completed. If the repair is still not completed on time, without good reason, we may pay you compensation.
Compensation is payable at a flat rate of £10, plus £2 per day (up to a maximum of £50) for every day the repair remains outstanding after the end of the second period of time. This 'Right to Repair' will not apply if you do not give us access for the repairs to be inspected or carried out.
It will also not apply in cases of extreme circumstances, such as a period of severe weather conditions.
