Crackley
Crackley is a former miners' estate 3 miles north west of Newcastle town centre and half a mile north west of Chesterton village. It has a small range of local shops and facilities, including a community centre and nearby primary school. Here we have 272 houses, 28 one bedroom flats and 6 one bedroom bungalows.
Red Street
A small hilltop village on the main road between Chesterton and Talke Pits, three and a half miles north of Newcastle town centre. Though there are a handful of shops in the village, nearby Chesterton or Talke Pits, have a wider range of shops including a supermarket and shopping mall (Freeport). In Red Street we have 46 modern homes (6 flats and 39 bungalows).
