This 1930s housing estate is located on the south eastern edge of a large former mining village, one mile west of Newcastle town centre. There are a number of local shops & facilities in the village, including a community centre, a sports centre, Infants & Primary schools and several pubs. There is a large modern supermarket half a mile away at Lower Milehouse. We have 150 (mainly two bedroom) houses, 3 one bedroom flats and 11 one bedroom bungalows on this estate.
