If you are experiencing difficulties that are forcing you to end your tenancy then Aspire Housing will be able to provide you with advice or support that could help you to stay in your home.
Your tenancy agreement is a legal contract so you must give at least four weeks written notice to terminate it. The exceptions to this are death, transfer to another Stoke on Trent Housing Society or Aspire Housing home and moving into residential care.
You can provide notice by sending us a letter or by filling in a Notice to Terminate the Tenancy of a Dwelling form.
When we have received your notice we will arrange a convenient time to visit you. This is to carry out an inspection of the property and is an opportunity for you to ask any questions. If we identify any repairs that are your responsibility we will discuss timescales for them to be completed before you move.
