how should I leave the property

When you leave you must make sure that the property is left clean, tidy, safe and secure.

All your belongings must be removed from the property, loft, gardens, outhouses, garage, and balcony. This includes furniture and rubbish. If you leave behind any belongings or rubbish we have the right to dispose of it and will charge you for doing so.

Lawns and hedges must be cut and overgrown gardens cleared.

Unauthorised or incomplete improvement works that you have made to the property and garden areas must be completed and agreed in writing before you leave. Alternatively you must put the property back to it original condition.

All fittings and fixtures, including kitchen units, heating systems, doors, handles and so on must be left in their original condition. You will be charged for any damage to the property that is not due to “fair wear and tear” i.e. normal day to day use.

If you wish to recycle unwanted furniture you can contact Furniture Mine on 01782 846111. They will collect furniture that is in good condition and give it to people who are in need of the items.
