Building better futures for everyone is what we strive for at Aspire Housing. And part of our commitment to both customers and local residents is to regenerate the areas of our Borough that need it the most.
We have been working in partnership with Newcastle Borough Council to develop a masterplan for the long-term regeneration of part of Chesterton and Crackley to set a vision for the next 10 years and the future.
On Wednesday 28th November 2018 we held a further consultation meeting to share the draft proposals for your area. This took place in the communal room at Kent Grove, Chesterton.
This follows on from our March 2018 consultation, which focused on developing a masterplan for the long-term regeneration of land between Cross Street, Church Street and Audley Road in Chesterton.
At the November 2018 event, we asked residents from the directly affected area to write down their views and ideas to help shape the future of the community and to influence long term planning. We wanted the people it could affect most to share their thoughts on the draft masterplan for the area.
We need your views to help us to shape the long-term masterplan for your area and to inform the decision-making process. This is an opportunity to help influence and shape the future of this area in advance of a planning application, so please take the time to contribute.
