Mental health matters

Everyone has mental health, and it's important to look after yourself to keep it positive. 1 in 4 people in the UK have a mental health problem in the UK each year, so we want you to know that we're here to help and support you.

Most common forms of mental illness

There are many different types of mental illnesses out there, and here are some of the most common ones:

  • Mixed anxiety and depression
  • GAD (generalised anxiety disorder)
  • PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder)
  • Depression
  • Phobias
  • OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder)
  • Panic disorder

The amount of people being diagnosed with mental health disorders is increasing in the UK, so we recognise that it is vital to support our customers as much as we can. If you feel that you may be suffering with any of the above, it's ok. Many people are in the same position as you and you're not alone.

Just recognising that you may have ill mental health is already a huge step in the right direction. Reaching out to a trusted friend or family member, mental health charity or mental health helpline is also a huge step and gets you on the path to overcoming what it is you may be struggling with.
