The employability and skills team have helped me to explore the job market and together we discussed current vacancies, different job sites and how to apply for work. I have now achieved a certificate which puts me in a better stand in securing work in the sector I am interested in. Also, I have managed to build various CV's which I will use to apply for work. I feel positive that I am taking the right steps to get to where I want to be.

After successfully completing my courses that were very helpful in developing the skillset required for my desired career, my CV was updated with my newly achieved qualifications. I gained employment and was able to start my new job. I feel sure that I would not have achieved this outcome without the help I was given as part of the Aspire to Work programme. I have nothing but praise for the programme and would recommend it to anyone.

Through supported career guidance from the employment and skills team, I was able to acknowledge my current situation, understand the true competitive nature of the employment market, and also become aware of my current skill set. I was also able to see the importance of my positive attitude, drive and desire to move on. I have now commenced my work placement and enjoy attending it enormously.
