Homeworks Trade Team Manager
Permanent, 35 hours per week
Salary: £29,000 annually

Achieve Training is a leading training provider and social enterprise. We offer various routes to apprenticeships, employment and further education through vocational courses, employability training and study programmes.
Homeworks are the property and training service from Achieve Training. We provide a comprehensive range of services including grounds maintenance, painting and decorating, aids and adaptations and property improvements to private and public sector businesses.
Our teams work closely with a range of young, aspiring apprentices and study programme learners to provide useful work experience and to help build knowledge, skills and behaviours to support their progression into the world of work.
We are looking for an organised and self-motivated individual ideally with experience in a facilities management/construction or maintenance environment to lead a multi-disciplined team to achieve set goals and objectives, in line with agreed financial targets.
In this varied role, you’ll take the lead in the operational delivery and planning of contact work whilst maintaining agreed budgets. With quality being at the forefront of our work, you will complete both post and pre-inspections to ensure that we meet the highest standards and work with the team to highlight any areas that require additional attention. You will monitor productivity and quality of work, ensuring that we adhere to compliance and regulations. You will know how to motivate your team and develop strong working relationships, recognising individual strengths and training requirements to establish an accomplished, productive team.
With experience in leading teams in facilities management/maintenance environments, you will have a good understanding of P&L management and be accustomed to managing budgets and resources.
