People First is our philosophy – our way of working – and it’s about putting customers and colleagues at the heart of what we do.

For every colleague it is something we all think about; putting customers and colleagues firmly at the centre of processes, decisions, and services so we can delight our customers and do a great job for those in our communities.

 

Our Promises

We make sure to provide the best possible service for our customers. Therefore, we created Our Promises which consists of 5 principles that allow us to give the best service for you and your family, along with our Communication Promise and Engagement Commitment.

We work with customers who have volunteered to get involved and help with new ideas, collating feedback and more, enabling collaborative working to create excellent services that meet customer needs.

Environmental Sustainability will be at the heart of our decision-making, recognising that we face a climate emergency and that the time to take action is now. We want our residents, learners and colleagues to see the impact we are having on reducing our emissions and creating a more sustainable place to work, learn and live.

Meet Our Team

The Executive team is led by Sinéad Butters MBE, Group Chief Executive, who is supported by a team of executive directors. The board is responsible for setting strategic aims, reviewing management performance and ensuring that the business achieves its goals.

Achieve Training update

It is with regret that we announce that Achieve Training closed on 31st October 2022, following a sustained period of financial strain.

 

The business has seen a significant drop in learner numbers, mainly due to the pandemic and national apprenticeship reforms.

 

In addition, funding models and operational guidance has changed, which has introduced many new challenges for the business.
