Supporting Newcastle-Staffs Foodbank
Recently we've been thrilled to support a special and local organisation, Newcastle-Staffs Foodbank!
The Foodbank has been bursting with generous donations from the community, but they were in need of stronger shelving to keep everything safely stored and organised.
We think it's so important to make positive contributions to our neighbourhoods, so every year our colleagues are able to support local organisations and give back through volunteering days.
This time two of our talented Home Maintenance Service Team Leaders got stuck in to support the Foodbank, rolling up their sleeves and getting to work.
Thanks to the generous support of Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS), who donated all the materials, our team was able to build brand‑new, heavy‑duty shelving that would be sturdy enough to hold the countless donations that make such a difference to local families.
Luke, one of our Team Leaders, said: "We were really happy to help provide support to the Foodbank as they are a helpful service to our communities. Also thank you to JPS for the donation of materials!"
We're really pleased to have been able to make a difference to an important organisation in one of our local communities, and we hope the brand-new shelves are able to support the excellent work Newcastle-Staffs Foodbank does across the area.
