Our homes are advertised through a variety of websites shown below, simply register with the sites which are more suited to your housing need to find your Aspire Housing home.
To register for a property with Aspire Housing you must be over 18 years old. If you are under 18 and are at risk of homelessness please speak with your local council. Within Newcastle-under-Lyme, homelessness is managed by Newcastle Housing Advice.
As part of your tenancy agreement, you must have been living in your current property for more than 12 months and meet other criteria before being eligible to make an application to move properties. In order to move you must have a housing need. This is defined as needing extra bedrooms (where children are unable to share - same sex, eldest must be 16 yrs or over, opposite sex, eldest must be 10 years or over), less bedrooms or a medical need to move (supported with documentation).
For properties within Newcastle-under-Lyme, register with NHA and HomesDirect. Alternatively, if you are currently a Housing Association or local authority tenant you can register for a mutual exchange through HomeSwapper

Newcastle Housing Advice (NHA) options is the choice based lettings service managed by Newcastle Housing Advice (NHA) and Aspire Housing.
We've created a joint housing allocations policy to deliver a straightforward, effective and fair way of assessing and prioritising applicants housing needs. The new banding priority is slightly different so your banding may change on the new system but this will still reflect your housing need as per the new policy. A copy of the Allocations policy can be found in the help guides on the new NHA Options website.
You can swap your home using online mutual exchange service, HomeSwapper. The site lets you advertise your property and find someone to swap with, bringing together people from Newcastle-under-Lyme and around the country who wish to move home.
As an Aspire Housing customer, your registration with HomeSwapper is free – once approved, you’ll be able to search and view matches.

If you are suitably housed but would still like to move, you can swap your home using online mutual exchange service, HomeSwapper. The site lets you advertise your property and find someone under a different social landlord to swap with. As an Aspire Housing customer, your registration with HomeSwapper is free – once approved, you’ll be able to search and view matches.
Once you’ve found someone to exchange with; you both need to complete a Mutual Exchange Form.
Send this to Aspire Housing, Kingsley, The Brampton, Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 0QW for the attention of your neighbourhood officer.
Once received, the exchange can be considered and we’ll contact you to explain the next steps.
Call us on 01782 635200 within 24 hours of receiving your offer. If we don’t hear from you within 24 hours, the property will be offered to another customer.
The length of time before you receive an offer can vary. Once you’ve registered and placed your bids, a shortlist is arranged in order of eligibility banding – you'll receive feedback on your position once the shortlist has been made to find out how your application is being considered.
