Our Aspire to Work service is provided by our Employment & Skills team. We offer individual support to help you with your C.V, job searching and applying for jobs, interview skills and ongoing support, should you need it.

We provide advice and guidance around training opportunities. We can also help with travel costs, course fees and work clothes*

The WorkShop offers you tailored and personalised career support to help you access training, employment or education.

Brought to you by us at Aspire, along with Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council and a range of local partners, The WorkShop is your town centre space for your employment needs.

Support

The support our advisors provide is tailored to you. We can help if you've recently lost your job, been unemployed for some time or have never worked.

Our support includes everything from CV writing and confidence building to searching for jobs online, accessing work experience, and acquiring new skills and training. We're on hand for as little or as much help as you need.

We can also help if you are already in work but want a change in direction or feel you want to release your full potential.

Yes. Our employment and skills team supports local people through a number of different work programmes which can help you find employment and training opportunities. Contact us using the form at the bottom of this page or visit the team Monday to Friday at The Workshop in Newcastle-under-Lyme's town centre. 

Can you help me to find a job?

Yes. The Employment and Skills team run a number of Aspire to Work drop-in events within the local areas on a weekly basis, and is on hand to help with:

  • Interview Preparation
