Big White Wall an online mental health community that has been commissioned by we are aspire and will be available to all Aspire Housing Customers from1st December 2019.
The service is designed to help people get support, take control and feel better. It provides 24/7 peer and professional support (with trained counsellors online at all times), plus a range of wellbeing tools to help people self-manage.
What is Big White Wall?
The service is available 24/7 via any internet connection, to support, anytime. Learners and apprentices can register themselves and access the service at anytime. You don't need to tell anyone you have registered. The service is completely anonymous.
You can access the help and support of trained clinicians online 24/7. You never need to feel alone; a range of online services means they will always have someone to talk to.
Large community
Big White Wall provides a platform to talk to other members who may be experiencing the same thing as you. You can add your feeling to the wall by creating a Brick using pictures and images. The large community offers support and over 200 articles so you can understand more about how you're feeling.
Online courses
You can register for a large variety of online guided support courses which use recognised therapies. Courses can be completed at your leisure to support your wellbeing.
Safety
Safety and security is a top priority for Big White Wall and there are several features in place to safeguard members including: 24/7 moderation by clinically trained ‘Wall Guides’, privacy rules and security guidelines.
Self-Improvement Tools
You can learn tips and find ways of coping using valuable resources available 24/7. They give you lots of information about many conditions and topics to help you understand more about your feelings, set goals and track progress.
