We’re looking for ASPIREing Board Members

Are you an Aspire Housing customer?

Would you like to have your say and help make important decisions that impact the lives of Aspire customers, colleagues and communities? We areCustomer Board Member blog-1 delivering a Trainee Board Member programme that will be open to any customers who may be interested in getting involved!

Starting in October 2023, the programme will provide support, mentoring and training to a group of Aspire customers in a wide range of areas such as:

  • How Boards work
  • Skills of a Board member
  • Finances, performance and risk
  • Mock Board meeting

Once you have completed the programme, you will have the opportunity to become a Customer Board Member as part of our current Aspire Housing Board, or have your say in another way – as an involved customer or an OASIS Group member (a group made up entirely of Aspire customers who provide challenge and oversight in all areas of Aspire).

 
Taking part in the training programme will offer many benefits:
  • The opportunity to positively impact the lives of Aspire customers, colleagues and communities
  • Development of transferable skills and knowledge to enable you to become a Board member
  • The opportunity to become a Board Member on the Aspire Housing Board
