As you may be aware, early last month, we experienced a cyber security incident. We immediately engaged the help of external IT support and took our systems offline as a precaution.

This proactive action to contain the incident did cause an interruption to our services, but we did our best to put in place workarounds so we could still carry out urgent work for you whilst we restored our systems safely and securely. This has now been completed and all our customer services are up and running as usual.

In parallel, we conducted a detailed investigation into the impact of this incident and whether any personal data we hold on our systems was impacted. Our investigation has now concluded and we are pleased to be able to confirm that none of our customers need to take any further action. This has also been confirmed by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) who have recently informed us they have closed their case into this matter.

We would like to thank you for your patience as we investigated and resolved this issue and apologise for any inconvenience caused by the disruption to our services.

We take IT security extremely seriously and, whilst no organisation can ever be completely safe from the threat of incidents like this, we have worked closely with our external IT support to implement additional measures to further strengthen our extensive IT security measures for the future.
